Yeah that's great until you rationalize everyone who doesn't follow your "correct" brand of Christianity as "evil" and therefore grant permission to yourself to do horrible shit to people just like they did in the inquisition.

Religion absolutely makes god in their image to justify their shitty behavior towards others. I know this because I used to be one such asshat.

If the god you believe in is seriously gonna send you to hell for trying to convince its enemies to choose a better path, then you aren't worshiping something worth worshiping, but rather a tyrannical and insecure baby...

Instead of obsessing over who other people decide to try and get along with, maybe put more focus on that personal relationship. Also if you're obsessed with making sure you chose the correct religion, maybe forget about that too...
