He was only there because he was $25M cheaper than Jon Stewart and allowed Comedy Central to virtue signal about it at the same time.

Then they confused brainwashed people with TDS watching to see what Trevor would say about Trump's latest Tweet with brainwashed people actually liking Trevor for his content and personality, so they bumped up his pay to $16M.

After Trump left office, those 800,000 viewers dropped to 600,000 to 400,000 to the current 363,000, a far cry from the 2.5M viewers Jon Stewart used to draw in.
