Thanks for posting this. The few hours I spent freezing my ass off on the side of the highway, waving to the passing trucks, was the most Canadian I'd felt in my life. I wanted so badly for them to have a genuine encounter with trudeau the coward, but he did what cowards do, and he's still doing it.
The two most heartwarming parts of the drive up were seeing segments of Sask that are something like 5-10km away from the nearest towns, but the overpasses were filled with hundreds of people. Also, in Winnipeg, there were thousands of people waiting on the side of the highway for several km outside the city.
There had to have been a few million people hanging out on the transcanada showing support across Canada. It's amazing that there are people still in denial that the truckers had any impact.
I followed the convoy from Alberta with my 13 year old daughter.
It was the most incredible experience of my life and the best lesson in civics I ever could have given her.
We spent our days on the streets of Ottawa and at night in the hotel room she would see the “news” on TV. I’ll never forget her face “Dad, they are lying, the news is lying….” May she never forget that lesson.
One Saturday morning near the beginning of the protest we hauled 400l of diesel onto Wellington street. The cops stopped us seven blocks from our destination and we had to walk in…. My daughter hauled 5 gallon diesel cans those seven blocks in the cold. She wouldn’t let anyone help her…. I’ve never been so proud.

Or support! It's stunning to see how people could see those crowds and then write them off as "fringe" just because MSM tells them to.
It's interesting that this is coming from Newsweek. Hmm...
Yes, very surprising.
