As harsh of a statement as it was, and if I recall correctly, it was in regards to not fighting for a better deal with the Dems at all, but rubber stamping approval and rolling over in complacency with the spending. There's tactics where he could delay things but he's not using them.
It shows he's with them 100%. It shows Mitch might as well be a Democrat if he's not going to do his job in any way.
Like a baseball game where your teams first basemen comes out onto the field wearing the other teams uniform and listens to the other teams line coaches.
It shows he's taking part in the treason along with them. Not trying to slow or mitigate their damage but actively helping it at this point.
What's the punishment for treason again?
That's what I got from the comment, as dark as it was, it was true. If Mitch is going to openly commit treason, this late in the game. He's 100% all in with them. Irredeemably part of it. Dare say an essential part of it.
This tells me that Mitch is probably one of the worst offenders and they have some of the most fucked up blackmail on him,
There's the obvs where they use the tired play of being each other's sources for their bullshit propaganda, then Mediate fluffs the WSJ editorial board's nonsense. And then there's Schiff's hard-press to redirect from his ass back to J6 (his loser flop sweat energetic's all over the WSJ piece). This should be fun to watch play out. 🍿🍿😎
But the “death wish” rhetoric is ugly even by Mr Trump’s standards and deserves to be condemned. Mr Trump’s apologists claim he merely meant Mr McConnell has a political death wish, but that isn’t what he wrote. It’s all too easy to imagine some fanatic taking Mr Trump seriously and literally, and attempting to kill Mr McConnell. Many supporters took Mr Trump’s rhetoric about former Vice President Mike Pence (https://archive.ph/o/w4Wt1/https://www.wsj.com/topics/person/mike-pence) all too seriously on Jan. 6.
