The one I know of near me is $75/month for anyone over 25. That's $900 a year, which is cheaper than insurance. Their website says they don't do vaccines, which is interesting. Doesn't say anything about COVID masks or protocols, either. Would definitely be affordable. Only issue is if you need a hospital and don't have insurance. Can bankrupt someone.

i'm not sure if there's such a thing as purchasing catastrophic insurance to cover hospitalization? i heard a commercial for medishare yesterday, i forgot about them as i haven't listened to talk radio since rush passed... maybe that would be an option?
They used to have catastrophic insurance before 0bummercare. It was called high deductible insurance. Sad thing is, that's now "normal" insurance or the bronze plans. 🙄 And last time I looked for a relative, it was $800/month per person!!!

I had never looked at the price since we have health insurance through work. It is surprisingly cheap.
