By Russia's own accounting is is NOT militia forces but their professional, enlisted army that has been doing the fighting, in fact, until this recent call up, Russia has professed that conscripts are NOT fighting.

Russia's regular army has been decimated. They're threatening nuclear war because their army, their trained professional army is in tatters.

Ukraine is corrupt, Russia is also corrupt. Russia's army is especially corrupt, their men are terribly trained and recruited from the dregs of Russian society. Their equipment is largely from the cold war. Their best weapons they sell to foreign buyers to line the pockets of their military elite.

Russia has serious problems right now.
