That raises the interesting question which is the bigger waste of taxpayer money; Ukraine aid to forestall the inevitable Russian victory and get more people killed in the process, or taxpayer subsidized floor insurance to pay to fix the inevitable damage every time a hurricane hits the area.

Apparently the national flood insurance is about $25 billion in debt, making it less wasteful than Ukraine aid since most of it actually helps Americans and gets used for its intended purpose.
