Twitter was actively suing Musk to force the sale for $46bn and the lawsuit didn't look to be going in Musk's favor, he wanted to back out. Now he's offering to drop the entire lawsuit and just do the purchase. So, no discovery, we'll see no evidence of the botfarms and other bs.
Nothing is down, he's trading his entire stake in SpaceX and Tesla for ownership of Twitter. Seems like a bad move.
He didn't simply ""Want"" to back out, he actually did back out....
The Proposition of a Sale, even a letter of Intent to buy, is not a Contract, and is unenforceable, not even if it is fully accepted by the receiver....
They had no traction in their lawsuit, the whole world knows it, and IF they would have pushed the issue, they would have lost, disclosure or not....
Space X is a joke, Humans and our Technologies are simply not ready for anything more than using Space Rockets for Amusement, kind of like a New Ride at the Carnival, even if it is only for the Rich....
Man on the Moon, IF it's true, and I'm not saying it isn't, but if it is, it was a Gargantuan Risk of Life to those who supposedly went....
We now have better tech and better equipment, but WE as a collective, are still at the same level, or should I say, have been brought down to the level, about one step above the Pirates of the 1800s....
The more things(TECHNOLOGY) Change, the more they(HUMAN NATURE) stay the same....
His smart move is to get out of two Joke Companies, one of which is a Major polluter, Tesla, and the other is a carnival Ride, in trade for a Single Company owned only by him....
Smart man, good solid move on his part, for himself....
One Down, Five to go??
Which ONE is down??
As far as I can tell, they're all doing just fine, and none have been taken down....
One or two might be hurting, and Twatter might be in a tight position, the sale is NOT FINAL until it is PAID FOR and has been transferred....
