I always wondered what made me “different” than others in society, and it’s mainly because my mom chose to homeschool all six of us kids. She prevented us from having to go through “public” school and deal with the drama that comes from that. When people tried to make fun of me, I could instantly see through it because it was merely projection. It’s been nice walking through life not giving two figs as to what others think of me, especially when they’re blatantly wrong.
