What can I do, in my small life, that would serve HIM? Did I act with kindness in all of my interactions, did I apply Patience, Mercy, Charity, for HIS Glory, or mine? DId I spend time in prayer, with our Emmanuel, our wonderful counselor? Do I withhold charity, say, in the form of donating to the food bank in our town, because it is manned by people who do not agree with my social outlooks, or do I disregard that because Christ told me in the Gospels to offer food and drink to the least of these? Surely the Bible must never be withheld from criminals, as the Lord God Jesus hung on the cross with criminals, and comforted them by telling them they will be in Paradise with them, because of their Faith. My life and how I lead it is between me and my Creator, not you, or "them", or any court here on Earth. I have to base my life on my reality, not what I read here, or there, that has anything to do with politics. I was such a judgemental angry person before I was healed in my spirit by Jesus Christ. I do not think I can love as HE loves me, I am so imperfect, but I can ask him every day to help me do this. There will be a reckoning someday for all sinners, as it is written in the scriptures. I try to live my life with that awareness. In my own family, there are good people who do not believe, I pray for them first, that somehow Jesus can come to them, I ask him to show himself to sinners, I pray for my enemies to come to the light, when it is impossible for me to love them as I have been commanded to.
