It's always funny (and sad) when atheists try to tell others what God's Word says. God's Word is very clear - some people's interpretation not so much. I urge people to read a King James Bible for themselves rather than listen to someone whose mission is to cast doubt and confusion on what it is to be "saved". The plan of salvation is very clear as is faith and works, sin and God's commandments (both Old and New Testament commandments).
I do not engage in debates with avowed atheists - they have made their choice and they can be accountable for it. I am interested in reaching those that believe that God created everything we see but just haven't bothered to ACCEPT Jesus as their personal Savior. I like to share the Good News with them that Jesus Christ is the Son of God that He died for the sins of all mankind and that all they have to do is accept Him by faith to have an eternity in the Kingdom of God.
It is really quite simple but non-believers want to muddy the simplicity with a lot of theological mumbo-jumbo that really only seeks to create doubt, confusion and fear. God bless.
