So you are agreeing with the fact that Universe is a simulation. In your view, its a simulation where God makes us see what we believe, so a simulation by God. This is a valid stance to have, dont get me wrong, just pointing out that its still a kind of simulation.

Cave men called the wonders of creation the works of magical beings and gods because that was their level of comprehension. Nowadays, we call those same wonders the work of a simulation because that is our current level of comprehension. There is a little truth in both views, and the common ground between them is our primitive state trying to comprehend the incomprehensible. Our current reality is not ultimate reality. If that makes it a simulation, then I'm fine with that description. What I oppose is a materialistic view of it.
