On a crucifixion of Hesus. It says plenty... all you need to know about Masons.
It's a test.
Once the high-degree Mason is ready to go beyond the 30th degree he is asked to spit on a crucifix.
If he refuses then there is a round of applause and he is told he passed the test. But he didn't. And he will be forever kept out of the higher circles and real secrets will not be divulged. He is told that the 33rd degree is the highest and that he has made it. And he will always be useful as a tool and might make a good middle class living.
If he had spit on the crucifix he would be allowed to advance to higher and higher levels. He will be told secrets that lower degrees are not allowed to know. and will become a millionaire. Maybe a billionaire. Maybe president of a country.
What book is this from?
Luciferian Freemasonry The Devil in the 19th Century Taxil Bataille Franc-Maçonnerie luciférienne Le diable au XIXe siècle Taxil Bataille

"The appendix contains a certain number of complaints and rectifications, including those of Colonel de Rochas, the Count of Larmandie, Diana Vaughan [sic, fictitious character created by Taxil], Mademoiselle Emma Calvé, Georges Bois…
The hermetic scholar and bookseller Pierre Dujols commented on it more than a century ago: “ Rare and highly sought after. These curious revelations about Freemasonry, known as Luciferian, are the most extraordinary one can imagine …”"
The masons see Christianity as a distortion of their mystery religion, the order of the quest. From east to west travels the sun, and as such, a Freemason too travels from east to west.
