Ya know, I've often thought that the over the top degradations being normalized today is really just a pretext for a pendulum swing back that they will attempt to control in order to benefit their over all goal, likely by putting a polarizing figure at the head of it and creating a false situation that would be used to make traditionalism/conservatism look unpalatable for years to come.
