The pageants have always been rigged, I believe. Especially the Miss Universe pageant has been rigged. If there is a conflict in a country , that is who wins. The pageants are very political. So I have zero doubt when the contestants say it was predetermined they are speaking truthfully. We have seen this before: Noble Peace Prize, selection of candidates for offices, Presidents of a particular country. The entire system worldwide is rigged. I believe sports, the winning team is rigged. The lottery, rigged. Elections, rigged. Stock market, rigged. Everything we know is the opposite. You see it in business, it isn’t how hard you work, what you know, it is who you know, and if you go with the flow (keep your mouth shut) that gives the advancement.
