Don't trust western medicine these days. My father has pretty bad arthritis, loves golf, and can't play due to his hands being so painful. Makes me sad to see his love of golf coming to an end.
Any of you know of supplements or cures to arthritis that western medicine has hidden from us? Know it is a long shot, but this place seems to be the only place where I get truth.
Thanks everyone. Love you all.
thank you for this link. i'd heard of this doctor before from gaw, re: mineral depletion, etc, and i found this article fascinating. my husband is ordering borax as we speak. i have arthritic hands and he has rotary cuff arthritic pain. we shall see. but all of the comments on this thread are interesting and helpful. thanks all, frens!
I don't know anyone who has tried borax for arthritis. Please update if you can! ☺️ And I hope it works for you and your husband.
I tried it for a month and didn't notice any significant changes, unfortunately. Maybe it has to do with different types and causes, but I was disappointed. But I can't say if it made a difference with my mineral absorption. I never get sick, but that could be from the zinc supplements I take daily.
Thank you for getting back to me! Sorry it didn't work for you. Definitely might depend on what type of arthritis or if there's a specific underlying cause. Another thing to look into is MSM. Sorry for WebMD link... There's a lot of information out there, though.

I would like to add that I used to smoke cannabis, and quit last March. Upon reflection, I realized that this is when my symptoms started to get worse. Quitting cannabis led to many positive changes in my life, but I wonder if there's a connection there to my arthritis symptoms. I understand people use CBD oil to treat arthritis. I might consider CBD in the future.
Thank you! I'll look into this, for sure. I believe I've read stuff on WebMD before. I appreciate your help.
