you say that like its a slur, but i love homemaking. I also dont think women working benefits society, as you can see by inflation, the divorce rate, and women's mental health. but at least im not a hypocrite :)
Absolutely no slur intended. While I agree homemaking shoud be loved by those who choose to do so. Women in the workplace absolutely benefits society. In some cases the man is the homemaker and that's fine too. And you may be right about the disabled working nit benefiting society, but it sure does help the disabled. Although I had a down syndrome guy at the grocery store, he was there for 30+ years. Everyone knew him by name and he always got a laugh and a smile out of everybody. That there is quite a benefit to society. BTW. I noticed we have similar usernames. Do you have a fast Nova?
It does benefit society when every able bodied person works to the best of their ability. The man held the job for 22 years, that means (at a minimum) he paid taxes and drew wages that were spent in his community.
We have enough basement dwelling young people in this country who expect someone else to provide for them.
see this is why I like gaw, no one will debate with me on twitter and yt has me shadowbanned. just for some context, i worked for several years as a java developer making 50k a year. my husband is a mechanic, we're not rich but i am a minimalist. all the things women spend money on, like makeup, shoes, cell phone, lawn service, drinks at bars, extra car payment, insurance and gas, manicures, starbuks, hair salon, all those useless service industries as I was talking about, we just dont spend money on. the problem is we outsourced all our production to other countries, we need more factory jobs here
ima be honest, disabled people working doesnt benefit society very much
It takes them off the welfare rolls.
companies get tax breaks for hiring them, you're still paying the salary
Doesn't matter. It gives them self respect. Something a lot of people need.
Bet you money he doesn't even have a job.

You don’t benefit society and from the “ima” term are incapable of using proper English. I suppose you also think he should have been aborted?

I have a down syndrome friend who owned a coffee shop til hurricane Michael. She's great.
Ok you go work at wendy's then
why would I do that? I am directly opposed to service industry, I work in my own kitchen and me and my husband are healthier for it
