I'd say around half of them post "the scare event' will immediately stick their head in the sand and refuse to talk about any of it. They'll clam up, lash out, or avoid at all costs even acknowledging any of it happened until the day they die.

You can't cure narcissism. And the entire mockingbird media relies on a narcissistic public. Oh well, it's just added endless stress, regret, grief, pain, and mental anguish for them for the rest of their lives. They deserve that at the very fucking least.
