They don't own THAT swift. Swift is cooperatively owned by many companies, like MasterCard or Visa, but bigger (as in more banks are members of swift than of MasterCard).

There's a different swift financial that they do own.

Thanks for the clarification. SWIFT could probably buy and sell PAyPal all day long.
