If survival is the driving force behind evolution then why do so many creatures have features and characteristics that not only don't help them survive, but actively makes it less likely that they will?
Sloths? What edge do they gain by being so slow? For some reason they also climb down from trees to defecate, thus making themselves even more vulnerable.
Koalas are doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing if their goal is to survive. Chlamydia-ridden tree rats that are only able to eat leaves from certain trees, get almost no nutrition from them, and the trees are prone to bursting into flames.
The Kiwi is a bird that's about as big as a chicken but their eggs aren't much smaller than an ostrich or emu egg. Also, it can't fly, even when it doesn't have a giant egg literally rearranging its insides.
Message to all snakes: Become more poisonous so absolutely nothing will fuck with you. The best way to survive is to ensure that the conflict never begins.
Pandas lol
If that's not enough, where are all the transitional species in the fossil record? They should be seen all throughout it, but there are none.
