My kid wants to go on a Sping Break school trip to Tawain. I told them no because world is way too unstable right now. They are now mad, but i think its the right decision. Thoughts?

Our Government left a group of school kids in Afghanistan when they decided to pull out. I think it was Glenn Beck's charity who brought them home. That is not a chance I would take if my kids were still in school.
