Weird how into COVID some people can still be. Hopefully they will figure out how much of a sham it is. Kids need to see faces and be around people to learn. But when they are a few days or weeks out they are just adjusting to living on their own. I wouldn't worry about the kid until they are three months old.
Yep, it's around the time they become more than just a sleeping, eating, pooping machine. Smiles start, sounds start, awareness starts. In my opinion it's the best time. You, as a parent, also start getting more sleep so that helps too lol.

No good reason that's when my kids stopped sleeping all the time and started to look at toys and recognize things.
