Iโve been there before and really thought about what would happen and the after, pretty dark. But I trust the Russians to do the right thing and not react how people would expect them to with these types of provocations, theyโve made their point so far, theyโre keeping their hands clean by all means, if a nuclear event were to happen here I would seriously wager that It would come from within
As if war wasn't screwed up enough already. Seeing those pictures of ukie and russkie casualties makes my stomach churn.
No matter how many games i play and how many movies i watch, seeing real death never gets any easier.
Edit: I will never get over how waxy and...rubbery corpses look. It's really weird. Really unsettling. There is probably a very good evolutionary (sorry not sorry Christians) reason why we aren't meant to be exposed to the sight of corpses. Take the various ancient burial rituals of the past. It's almost always done as soon as possible in most if not all cultures and places, and almost always involved incineration or covering-up of the body.
Because death on the battlefield is nothing like a movie or video game, that look of death in the faces that die, the grotesque body positions or missing limbs is far different to what most think it is. The smell will also never leave you.
I am glad that i am going out of my way to subject myself to those images and videos. It really is a reality check.
