With or without Trump I knew it would eventually happen; Biden just made it immediate. I tried to get my investment "advisor" to shift my retirement account into the TIPS more than a year ago (Treasury Inflation Protected Securities; I think is the correct expansion of the acronym). It at least protects your money against inflation, whereas the "conservative" accounts I have now not only are losing a little, they have a 6% annual fee!
