What I found hypocritical was an old parade krewe - Zulu - a primarily black krewe over 100 years old - accepted a few whites before the city forced them all to accept anyone - and the whites had to wear blackface per the parade krewe and none of the blacks in the krewe or the city actually found it offensive - but whites outside the area did smh
