Alex Jones didn't perpetrate a hoax, he reported on one. Thus, it is not the government we sue, but the media; according to this precedent, MSM should be held culpable until they are all eternally bankrupt. And then do another round for COVID.
A class action lawsuit against the media for lying can't work. It isn't illegal for the media to lie. It is protected under the first amendment and is essential. Again, if we were to sue the media for lying we would be destroying ourselves.
Because the government (specifically the CIA/FBI) was the group that perpetrated the Sandy Hook hoax, they are the only group we could sue. We could sue them for violation of the Smith-Mundt act for using the US media to push US government propaganda (in this case reporting of a hoax which was a CIA psyop).
At the time of Sandy Hook (Dec. 14, 2012) the Smith-Mundt act was still in play. It wasn't until a week later that the NDAA which repealed it was signed into law by the Senate (Dec. 21, 2012, the day the world ended). During that week they violated that law, and can thus be sued.
The media however is protected to say whatever bullshit they want.
Yeah, except wtf are you talking about? This case, the Alex Jones case, is the MEDIA being sued for "LYING". Whatever you're talking about is old precedent, now, people can be sued to kingdom come for lying (or for not following the narrative, if you prefer). This is how it is, so WE CAN sue the MSM for damages in the dozens of trillions for Russiagate and the hundreds of trillions for COVID.
As far as I know, no one has won a case yet. This is all a show. Suing the media for lying and actually winning would be a death sentence for We The People. We might as well throw the chains on our own wrists and ankles.
I'm not saying there is no law suit there, but it can't be for "lying." Coercion, using deception, to harm yourself is not "lying," it's coercion to harm yourself. The key difference is coercion. It's not about not telling the truth, it's about lying to make someone die. That's crimes against humanity. I'd say that's a much better path to take.
