Can someone explain to me why we're seeing all the high pressure systems? Are they messing with the weather?

We have noticed a LOT of high altitude cross hatch flights leaving huge trails in the early mornings (around 7am) towards the south east in the U. Usually noticeable in clear skies and later in the day the skies become very overcast. Often noticed things that seem to be falling on a vertical trajectory also which don’t seem to be commercial flights…
I’m out between 6-7am about 3-4 mornings per week and this has been happening often in NW England
