I think this is just the culture of Philly to boo anyone and everyone. Bill Burr has a famous rant during one of his comedy sets where he got boo'd and went apeshit on the crowd, coming up with new material in the spot and insulting the shit out of all of their sports teams and telling them he hoped they would all die of cancer and heart disease. It was great
