Wow, never heard of plexiglass between the tables. I guess it wasn’t as crazy as I thought in the restaurants here. The plexiglass in stores kills me. If they sneeze it’s blowing back on them & they are breathing their own germs. An Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at since 1982 was closed to inside dining way after the restaurants were allowed to open. I believe the owner didn’t want to deal with the new rules. Can’t blame him. His take out business was insane. We were ordering at 4:30 because if you waited till 5 it was taking over an hour for pizza.
In the Cleveland, Ohio area and suburbs tables were decreased, plexiglass was installed between booths halfway up (around 4 feet above the booth backing). It was crazy. As if germs didn’t go over the dividers and stayed in the confines of the booth area. Plexiglass still surrounds cashiers in some grocery stores. Insanity!
