I came close. When I was 10-ish, my mom took me to see Rossington-Collins band. And my dad mixed sound for Skynyrd a couple times when we lived in Jacksonville.

We always took our boys to concerts with us. Rush, rem, Stone Temple Pilots, modest mouse. Very bonding experience.

We had a bunch of kids and couldn't afford much, but Doyle Dykes had a FREE private concert we were all invited to and the kids LOVED it!
