The Donzinger case is very interesting. I'm not claiming to know whether he's a goodie or baddie or what, but he basically ran a psy-op/campaign over in Ecuador against Chevron and was able to out-maneuver them in the courts there and get a huge verdict for damage from their well operations. The guy has skills beyond the legal realm.
Full weight of Chevron's legal team comes down on him back in the US and they are able to get contempt of court charges on him somehow. I have no clue how this moved so slowly to the Supreme Court but one thing I've learned in my life is if you expect justice through the courts it'll always arrive late and grossly overdue.
