yeah this is partially why I wanted to bring this up, I've heard some people talk about it maybe having prophetic implications. didn't know about mesopotamia

it's also just an amazing thing to see, idk if you saw the last one in May (I've never seen anything like that before)

I think today people get tripped up on scientific / mechanical explanations for the lunar eclipse and that may distract them from thinking of it as a kind of religious "sign from God" of some kind
