This is all very stupid and suspect imo.

How exactly would getting off of telegram help at all? the platform already has your information... deleting your account won't change that, if the concern is tracking, then you're better off wrecking your cellphone with a hammer, they already have your number... let alone the fact that they can get every single bit of information telegram has on you from almost ANY other social platform you're at.

Also he's doing that very close to midterms, heck it would be extremely good for the evil ones if a bunch of conservatives stopped using a very effective instant messaging platform for communication wouldn't it? one of the few places where information wouldn't be heavily censored...
