Unless my history is fucky, ebay was the reason PayPal got started. My 2003 brain isn't as sharp as it used to be. People were worried about ebay transactions being exposed to criminals so PayPal came along and created a way to save payment info externally from ebay. Except they are on that gay shit now, so.
