I haven't really had time to put this in the proper words, but I think this was the role for Durham. He couldn't go after the whole fbi/cia/doj/political establishment. All he could do is show it is rotten to the core. He showed how corrupt here: "Former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes on Friday accused Attorney General Merrick Garland of ‘blocking’ Special Counsel John Durham from bringing charges against officials implicated in the Russiagate scandal."
