I still don't see how having a Telegram account makes a difference to the Chinese. It's not logical. They'd have better luck driving through neighborhoods and targeting homes with US flags flying. Gregg has some "splainin" to do.

Because of these posts, I've been paying a bit more attention.

If you look on YouTube comments, you'll find tons of bots and scammers using Telegram.

They spoof the YT channel owner and post a Telegram address.

This probably isn't the entire answer, but I'll bet it plays a part.
