I was thinking that, just maybe, the DUMBS are being flooded. At one point when I was researching dumbs, an estimate of what flooding would do to them was that it would lower the sea level by a few feet globally. I can't defend this point, because I didn't get that into it, but the water levels after Hurricane Ian seemed crazy low and that thought came back to mind. Any Fla. pedes able to comment?
