Try to empty it...lol.
No really, pick a focus point with your eyes open then try to close the eyes and create an image in your mind of a peaceful natural place, the future you want to see yourself in or just try to see colors. It’s different for everyone.
It’s basically the empty stare we do naturally when we are awake. There’s a quality of feeling to it that is hard to describe. It’s like taking a break from whatever is at hand. I know it when I’m there especially if someone nearby says hey, where’d you go?
Personally, I like to pray.
