If you live near a nuclear power station which melts down you'll have fallout (Chernobyl, Fukushima) otherwise radiation's not an issue, scaremongering. Air quality could be an issue if it's a dirty bomb like the rumour of ammonia being released in a Ukrainian false flag.
i wouldn't bet on a meltdown from any US reactor or one designed like them. Chernobyl was a crap design with crap operators, fukushima was a worst case scenario with the earthquake and some other stuff on top of it.
In the UK's Christmas Islands nuke tests in the early 1950's aircraft were flown through the mushroom clouds to measure the radioactivity which was very high. The aircrew came down with very nasty radioactivity burns and died of neurological diseases and rare cancers.
My father was there on HMS Glory and said that the crew was measured for radioactive responses before and after the tests. There are verifiable measurements.
No doubt radioactive material can be released and measured as you describe, but a lot of the narrative is scaremongering. Human beings are so crazy that if they could deliver a nuclear bomb according to the narrative they would have used it by now. Israel would have destroyed Palestine, Pakistan would have taken out India, etc.

It is an issue if you are a farmer or gardener, the isotopes will be in the soil.
What we're told about radiation from a bomb cannot be verified in practice. Nagasaki and Hiroshima have no radiation data.
Radiation from Chernobyl and Fukishima is still there. measurable.
it's a scam, like covid.
It can be measured.
