They are also talking about taking over starlink. They have seen how valuable it is in war via Ukraine and how it would be a nice new shiny toy for their warmachine
And Musk wants Russia and Ukraine to find a peaceful solution. That is not sitting too well with the warmongers of DC
given that i only know about normie tech - i don't see how that could work with the current phones. the bands that cell phones work on - cell and wifi- wouldn't make it that far much less the weird issues of going through the ionosphere and actual space. cool idea though.
i think it would be easier for the WHs to just jack the existing infrastructure away from the BHs. the starlink stuff always struck me as a red herring to draw attention from that.
As a starlink customer I did notice one odd thing. My bill is/was due today the 24th and usually I get an email at midnight that my payment is processed. But so far nothing yet today
Ty hahaha. It's good! I got a good clear view of the sky which helps. Beats the heck out of other satellite services. Maybe not as good as fiber but on par or better than dsl. But where I live it's satellite or nothing
Where I live it's sat or cable (Spectrum) which is semi-reliable. I also like the idea of it being outside of the internet censor platforms like Cloudflare etc. I don't play games - it's for web surfing, streaming music, and the occasional movie service.

Socialists gonna socialize.
<blinks> Wow. Taking over StarLink would be interesting.
Am I BTW the only one that suspects that there is "space WiFi" up there somehow? Available to literally everyone's phone?

What if that's what the shots and 5g towers were all about?
But the companies that own this infrastructure are the ones we're trying to circumvent, is what I'm saying.
Have you seen the king's men two?

How do you like it? I’ve got it on order. And you have the best handle on the interwebs.

I heard you can't stream a podcast on it with multiple voices because of the latency.
But otherwise it's fine for using the internet for browsing and watching streams.
The absolute near lack of latency is supposed to be what makes Starlink special.
You can listen to a podcast on dial up Internet...
