I know, I know…I should have long ago removed and deleted my instagram and Facebook. Not much of good really comes of them. I’ve held onto them because I like to “check the temperature” of goings on with family, friends, and society at large. Also, I’ll admit, I do get a bit of inspiration and humor sometimes out of the story reels. And have to catch myself from mindlessly swiping through them.

Parents of underage children who allow their kids to have social media and internet access, especially at night from their phones: READ ON, and get them the hell off, and have a conversation with your adult children…

Normally when finding my attention grabbed by the reels, I’ll get a slide of a cute young adult woman in yoga pants, or another clearly showing off her nice figure, etc. (because I’m a dude and it fits the algorithm, and I won’t lie — a bit of eye candy that keeps me scrolling), but normally moderately tasteful. They’re always sandwiched between cute, fun, inspirational reels that keep my attention hooked for a short while, until I break free.

This is propaganda at it’s finest (worstest).

Tonight (early morning), while unable to sleep), however, I noticed something much more sinister and disgusting. I found myself on Instagram, scrolling a few reels, and it started off the same: cute lady showing off, several other inspiring or funny, then another lady…but then it started getting worse and went something like this (no nudity per se, but much worse in my opinion — and this is no joke):

— a clip of a Janet Jackson stunt where she dry humped a fan at one of her concerts…very, very provocative ——-several more funny or inspiring in-between

— a clip of a woman rubbing a horses balls (it was meant to be humorous). ——-several more funny or inspiring in-between

— a clip of an old grandpa-aged man removing a very young woman’s bra and groping her breasts (no nudity shown but was obvious from the side what was happening, and there was a laugh track with it — meant to be funny). ——-several more funny or inspiring in-between

— a clip of a horse with a giant boner stretching himself to smell a woman’s crotch. ——-several more funny or inspiring in-between

— a clip of a sex toy being inserted into a silicone replica of a vagina, then being inserted into the butt (metal music started playing during the butt part, like encouraging more edginess).

The reels got more and more sexualized and more and more frequent the longer I went. It horrifies me to think of a young teen awake at night getting fed this gross level of propaganda, desensitizing themselves to all possible variations of sex.

Also, if your kids don’t have social media, their friends probably do!
