Yep. If the people that chose the most morally repugnant path possible are crying now, I urge them to get comfortable because that feeling of unease will grow exponentially. Hard lessons have to be taught here that last until the end of time itself. You don't mandate ANYTHING for me. You don't GET to intimidate me.
