Um, call me a bit nuts but what I'm reading here sorta implies this guy was related to Cohen, was looking at life in prison, and provided evidence to get a deal of such quality that the judge asked him if he was cognizant of the "nature of the benefit your attorneys have accomplished on your behalf?”

Also of note, Freidman was a Russian immigrant.
