I'd keep a few in HR to handle all the paper work. Work smarter, not harder.
Keep HR on staff long enough to process all the paperwork, then give HR employees the boot and have an outside firm handle THEIR paperwork.
Whatever department is best to process all the dismissals. HR is a broad term. We've all had awful things subjected to us from HR.n
I think it would be best to use outsiders for that too.
You could lose knowledge by not respecting continuity. Imho. Outsiders could be in the room with them. Should be in the room with them.
He can outsource the HR dept.
