It wasn’t what I thought it would be, but I have another day so I am waiting to make full judgement. However, while discussing the KKK, the narrative came up that they were the republicans of today, and that the parties switched names. Seems convenient. I mean, they described it as if you were any kind of public official you had to be part of the KkK so there were thousands of people in the KKK, they were no fringe group. Can anyone share any informative accurate links to this unfortunate part of our history?

When libs say the parties flipped, ask them if they know how many segregationist Democrats in Congress remained in the party well after the Civil Rights vote. The answer is all but one.
There was no flip. Just a new strategy.
