There is no justification for using paddles drilled with holes on children, none, I don't care what they did.
I agree, there is NO REASON for an adult to paddle any child that is not their own, be it AT SCHOOL or anywhere. If A PARENT uses a paddle as a form of punishment AT HOME, that is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Parenting techniques can be way different from family to family, but it is up to the FAMILY to choose what works best. There are always limitations, of course: "abuse" has a WIDE OPEN definition.
Abuse from a parent is WAY DIFFERENT than "abuse" from an adult NOT OF THE FAMILY. If I slap my kid for being disrespectful or rude or for vulgar language, that is A PARENT DISCIPLINING THERE CHILD. If another adult slaps my kid, that's ABSOLUTELY ABUSE (legally defined as ASSAULT) and I will protect my child from the abuser and retaliate to ANY EXTENT I FEEL IS NECESSARY at that time.

For sure. Mods need to mass purge delete these flakes. Im sure it can be fairly automated and run live and in real time. Algorithm would simply look for key snowflake words like "litterally", "cope" and "basically". It would also look at down vote vs up vote ratio. Target flake key word comments then a 75/25 down vote to up vote ratio and mark them for deletion.
Not sure I would allow the algorithm to auto-delete. I would hate to rob a mods ability to gain the satisfaction of smashing the delete button while rocking out to Drowning Pools Let the Bodies Hit the Floor.
