Watch the Federal Election Commission bring Kari up on charges for accepting a $500,000 contribution because it was 'well over the limit'. Kari even admitted it!

They can not prove the true value.
Since when do they 'prove' anything? :)
They'll use Kari's appraisal of $500,000. Plus, based on the first paragraph of her letter (above), they'll subpoena the records of Kari's campaign donations, measure the increase after the ad, and add that to the total.
I'm not saying they're going to do it, I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me.
