I used to live on the periphery of this area. I would park my car around there, primarily because it was only houses in the area and thus more street parking availability; further down the hill, it was more apartments and commercial so trying to find parking was a disaster, so it was faster to just park in the same general area and walk home rather than go round and round and then try to remember where the car was three days later. This house is two blocks from Gordon Getty's: same street. The "Mrs. Doubtfire" house is a block or so in the other direction. There are a number of consulates in the area as well - Russian. Italian. People who live here have serious money. They have LLCs for their staff with benefits. They don't hire Merry Maids. They have expensive private security - it is not Simply Safe. Hell, even my parents once got a call when they were on vacation about their system and it turned out one of the censors had fallen onto the floor. But a hammer wielding nut job manages to elude all the safeguards? Also - none of the neighbors systems caught anything? No video of him walking down the street or sneaking through backyards with a time stamp?
