Anyone tried one? I need a mattress and Mike deserves my money if it is good.

I would kill for an old school waterbed🙂
I was pregnant five times with waterbeds and I distinctly remember feeling like a beached whale trying to get out of bed. I had to roll right to propel myself left out of bed. The first time my cat got on the bed he flew out of the bed and bounced off the walls. Lots of good laughs and memories with the waterbeds! I wonder why they don't sell them anymore. The biggest problem with good mattresses and pillows is that it is hard to sleep on anything else. We recently flew to visit family and I packed "My Pillow"...can't enjoy a good night's sleep without it...thank goodness luggage was free.
I think the insurance industry put the breaks on waterbeds. At first you couldn't have them in second, third, etc. apartments. Then you couldn't have them in ground floor apartments, then they were gone. Who knows.
My parents had a waterbed. I heard many years ago that they're poor for your back long term, but I couldn't verify that.
Best sleep I ever had.
Seriously? Did you do the coil or foam?
