There were many religions before Christianity. Their merits are not the topic of discussion at this point, I am merely pointing out that they weren't satanic. When these religions were hundreds or thousands of years old, Christianity did not exist. They had their Gods of good and evil. Even Hebrews were polytheistic until they were enslaved by the Babylonians and came into contact with Zoroastrianism. After the liberation of the tribes of Benjamin and Israel by Cyrus the Great, they returned to Jerusalem as a monotheistic religion.
